I like to learn new things and explore the inner-workings of our world, whether that be the insides of a cell, or the economic frameworks that support modern society. The world is complicated and vast, and there is a lot of ground to cover.

I'm primarily interested in the human - nature interface. I like understanding the interactions between people and their surroundings, ranging from mutually beneficial to exploitative interactions.

You may be able to tell from the way I write that I'm trained in science. I think with a scientific lens: sleuthing for statistically significant evidence. But I also love a good story.
